while i am reading the last two lines of your post, the first thing came to my mind is what Bandura's said about the person who believes to succeed so s/he does.
“People who believe they have the power to exercise some measure of control over their lives are healthier, more effective and more successful than those who lack faith in their ability to effect changes in their lives."
I agree with u Omar and with Albert Bandura also.. Having faith in our abilities and believing in our selves & success are the basics for reaching success in all fields of life.
If you love something, then you will be happy with it. And when you are happy with it, you will succeed in it :) It is a cycle!! :) And when you succeed, you'll love it more :)

Let me add one thing more Hiba to that ... Love what you are doing in order to do what you love this is my philosophy in life that was a nice quote
